NYC were held to 3-3 draw by Dallas down on Wednesday at Yankee Stadium. At the moment, NYC are in 4th place, with 35 points from 32 matches, while Dallas sit in 10th, with 27 points from 32.
Dallas started the first half well, with an early goal from Obrián in the 4th minute. However, their celebrations were kept brief, as Moralez equalised for NYC at the 20 minute mark, which brought Ronny Deila’s squad level at 1-1 at the half time break
The Pigeons took the initiative in the second half, thanks to Medina finding the net in the 57th minute. However, they didn’t maintain the lead for long though, an equalizer from Jesús Ferreira, at 63 minutes, brought Dallas level. However, each side looked hungry to win and NYC then found the back of the net in the 68th minute thanks to Talles Magno, taking the score to 3-2. In the end though, their lead was short lived, as Obrián equalised for Dallas at the 73 minute mark. The final result, NYC 3, Dallas 3.
For NYC, Chanot, Andrade, Heber, Zelalem and Barraza, came on for Ismael Tajouri, Sands, Talles Magno, Acevedo and Medina. Dallas replaced Servania, Quignon, Pomykal, Martínez and Che for Acosta, Ricaurte, Schön, Hedges and Eddie Munjoma.
Andrade saw the red card, for NYC.
