On Saturday, Montréal suffer an away defeat to New York Red Bulls at Red Bull Arena. As the table looks today, Red Bulls and MON currently occupy 7th and 9th spots in the league, with 46 points and 43 points respectively after 43 matches.
After an un-eventful first half, Red Bulls piled on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to Fábio Gomez finding the net just before the final whistle so at full time it was 1-0 to Red Bulls.
For Red Bulls, Fábio Gomez, Clark, Amaya and Diarra, came on for Carmona, Edwards, Cásseres and Yearwood. MON brought on Lappalainen, Bassong, Ahmed Hamdi and Johnsen, to replace Ibrahim, Brault-Guillard, Waterman and Choiniere.
