Inter Miami fell to an away defeat at the hands of New York Red Bulls at Red Bull Arena on Sunday. After today’s result, Red Bulls are in 6th place, with 20 points from 17 matches, while Inter sit in 14th, with 8 points from 17.
It was an impressive opening from Red Bulls, with a goal from Klimala, 26 minutes in. They then managed to see out the first half 1-0. The second half ended with little further action at either end and goalless.
For Red Bulls, John Tolkin, Clark, Barlow and Harper, came on for Amaya, Fernandez, Klimala and Carmona. Inter brought on Sami Guediri, Vassilev, Carranza and Higuaín, to replace Brek Shea, Matuidi, Robinson and Leerdam.
There were bookings for Duncan from Red Bulls. For Inter, Sami Guediri saw yellow.
Red Bulls will next travel to Toronto FC, while Inter will face New England Revolution at home.
