Chicago Fire defeat New York Red Bulls 1-0 on Sunday at Red Bull Arena. As things stand, Red Bulls are currently 12th with 22 points from 29 matches, while Chicago sit in 10th, with 23 points from 29.

Chicago started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, thanks to Berić giving Chicago the lead, 34 minutes in and seeing the first half out 0-1. Both teams unable to deliver anything further, the score remained at 1-0 at full time.

For Red Bulls, Royer, Duncan, Amaya and Tarek, came on for Klimala, Edwards, Clark and Andrés Reyes. Chicago brought on Offor, Collier and Medrán, to replace Gutierrez, Berić and Stojanović.

There were bookings for Andrés Reyes and Duncan from Red Bulls, and Terán, for Chicago.
