Red Bulls 2 – Orlando 1- Metro see off visitors at Red Bull Arena

New York Red Bulls beats Orlando City 2-1 on Saturday at Red Bull Arena. Following today’s result, Red Bulls are currently 7th with 9 points from 9 matches, while Orlando sit in 2nd, with 12 points from 9.

Metro started strongly in the first half, thanks to a goal from Clark in the 35th minute. The score at half time was 1-0.

Red Bulls continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, with Cásseres finding the net, 60 minutes in. In the end though, The Lions at the 84 minute mark pull-back following a Van De Water goal, leaving the final score at 2-1.

For Red Bulls, Yearwood, Fabio Gomez, Fernandez and Brian White, came on for Amaya, Klimala, Clark and Royer. Orlando brought on Michel, Van De Water and Moutinho, to replace Pereyra, Halliday and Mendez.

There were bookings for Davis and Cásseres from Red Bulls, and Antônio Carlos, Mendez and Moutinho, for Orlando.
