Red Bulls 1 – Union 1- Metro denied all 3 points at Red Bull Arena

On Friday, Red Bulls and Union were held to a 1-1 draw at Red Bull Arena. Following today’s result, Red Bulls are in 7th place on the table and has 17 points while Union sit in 3rd with 20 points after 16 matches.

After a goalless first half,

Metro fought back the second half, thanks to Klimala giving Red Bulls the lead in the 60th minute. In the end though, their celebrations were kept brief, as Santos equalised for Union just before the final whistle and seeing the game end 1-1.

For Red Bulls, Amaya, Egbo, Fernandez, Pendant and Barlow, came on for Yearwood, Tarek, Carmona, John Tolkin and Klimala. Union brought on Bendik and Santos, to replace Gazdag and Leon Flach.

The referee booked Yearwood and Duncan from Red Bulls. Union had the worst of it though, with Mbaizo and Jamiro Monteiro seeing yellow, and Freese then sent off with a red.

Union and Red Bulls will next play at home to D.C. United and Inter Miami respectively.
