NYC were held to 1-1 draw by Phili down on Saturday at Yankee Stadium. As the table looks today, NYC are currently 1st with 8 points from 6 matches, while Phili sit in 11th, with 5 points from 6.

After a goalless first half, Whatever was said in the dressing room at half time, seemed to have a positive effect on NYC who started the second half well, thanks to Medina giving The Pigeons the lead, on 53 minutes. In the end though, their lead was short lived, as Shaffelburg equalised for Phili, 74 minutes in and seeing the game end 1-1.

For NYC, Ibeagha, Amundsen, Rocha, Latinovich and Gloster, came on for Callens, Thórarinsson, Ismael Tajouri, Chanot and Andres Jasson. Phili brought on Deleon, Mullins, Shaffelburg, Dwyer and Priso-Mbongue, to replace Endoh, Altidore, Soteldo, Akinola and Lawrence.

There were bookings for Acevedo and Andres Jasson from NYC, and Mavinga, for Phili.
