Revs 2 – Orlando 1- Home win for Revs at Gillette Stadium

New England Revolution eased past Orlando City in a 2-1 victory on Sunday at Gillette Stadium. As the table looks today, Revs are in 1st place on the table and has 59 points while Orlando sit in 5th with 38 points after 35 matches.

Revs started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, with a goal from Buksa in the 9th minute. However, they were unable to maintain their lead, Daryl Dike managed to equalize and take the sides off in the 18th minute at 1-1. However, Revs, 35 minutes in found the back of the net via a Schlegel goal. The score at half time was 2-1. With both teams struggling to produce anything meaningful in the second half though, the game ended 2-1.

For Revs, Bunbury, came on for Bou. Orlando brought on Nani, Van De Water, Akindele and Smith, to replace Michel, Mendez, Perea and Schlegel.

There were bookings for Buchanan from Revs, and Michel and Jansson, for Orlando.
