Revs 1 – COLO 0: Visitors unable to get win at Gillette Stadium

New England Revolution snatched all three points from Colorado Rapids in a narrow 1-0 victory on Thursday, at Gillette Stadium. Following today’s result, Revs are in 1st place on the table and has 70 points while COLO sit in 3rd with 55 points after 42 matches.

After a goalless first half, Revs applied pressure in the second and were rewarded, with Buchanan giving Revs the lead, at 75 minutes. They managed to see the game out with a clean sheet and a final score of 1-0.

For Revs, Boateng, Traustason and Maciel, came on for Mcnamara, Carles Gil and Bou. COLO replaced Jonathan Lewis, Kaye, Barrios, Galván and Badji with Shinyashiki, Mezquida, Rubio, Beitashour and Bassett.

The referee booked Abubakar, Rubio and Lucas Esteves for COLO.
