New England Revolution fell to a home defeat at the hands of Toronto FC at Gillette Stadium on Thursday. After today’s result, Revs are in 1st place, with 24 points from 16 matches, while Phili sit in 14th, with 8 points from 16.
It was an impressive opening from Phili, with Soteldo finding the net in the 9th minute. The momentum was now with Phili, who then scored again through a goal from Lawrence, 15 minutes in to establish a 2-0. Phili then scored once more and increased their lead thanks to a goal from Endoh, 24 minutes in, finalising the first half 0-3.
Revs took the lead in the second half, thanks to Carles Gil finding the net in the 57th minute. Revs then netted once more and pull-back thanks to a goal from Buksa at the 79 minute mark to make it 3-2.

There were bookings for Mcnamara from Revs. For Phili, Delgado and Deleon saw yellow.
Revs will next travel to Atlanta United, while Phili will face Orlando City at home.
