New England Revolution snatched all three points from Columbus Crew in a 1-0 victory on Monday, at Gillette Stadium. Following today’s result, Revs are in 1st place on the table and has 11 points while Columbus sit in 11th with 5 points after 7 matches.
After an un-eventful first half, Revs piled on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Buksa just before the final whistle, sealing a 1-0 victory for the away side.
For Revs, Buchanan, Kaptoum, Buksa and Mcnamara, came on for Bunbury, Maciel, Traustason and Bou. Columbus brought on Matan, Wright-Phillips, Fraser, Abdul-Salaam and Keita, to replace Díaz, Zardes, Etienne, Artur and Francis.
