Nashville 3 – Orlando 1: resounding home win for Nashville in MLS Play In

Orlando City suffer a loss against Nashville SC in their first match of the Major League Soccer Play In. Today’s result, Nashville will remain in MLS’s Playoffs for at least the next phase, as they await their next opponents

Orlando dominated the first half, with a goal from Daryl Dike, 14 minutes in. However, their lead was short lived, as Mukhtar equalised for Nashville at the 21 minute mark, which saw the first half end 1-1.

Nashville continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to Mukhtar finding the net again at the 74 minute mark. Nashville then scored once more and increased their advantage thanks to a goal from Cádiz just before the final whistle with a final score of 3-1.

For Nashville, Anibaba, Cádiz, Muyl and Tah Anunga, came on for Miller, Sapong, Mccarty and Leal. Orlando brought on Nani, Pato, Akindele and Van De Water, to replace Michel, Mendez, Mueller and Mas.

There were bookings for Anibaba from Nashville, and Pereyra and Mendez, for Orlando.
