Nashville 1 – Columbus 1: Honours even at Nissan Stadium

On Thursday, Nashville and Columbus were held to a 1-1 draw at Nissan Stadium. Following today’s result, Nashville and Columbus currently occupy 2nd and 10th spots in the league, with 49 points and 38 points respectively after 41 matches.

After an un-eventful first half, Columbus fought back the second half, thanks to Zelarayán giving The Crew the lead at the 75 minute mark. In the end though, their lead was short lived, as Mukhtar equalised for Nashville, 77 minutes in. The final result, Nashville 1, Columbus 1.

For Nashville, Ríos, Aké Loba, Haakenson and Tah Anunga, came on for Leal, Sapong, Washington and Godoy. Columbus brought on Miguel Berry, Hairston, Valenzuela and Wormgoor, to replace Zardes, Fraser, Etienne and Nagbe.

There were bookings for Mukhtar and Haakenson from Nashville. For Columbus, Nagbe saw yellow.
