Nashville SC beats Chicago Fire 5-1 on Sunday at Nissan Stadium. As the table looks today, Nashville are in 4th place on the table and has 22 points while Chicago sit in 12th with 11 points after 17 matches.

Nashville started the game well, with Mukhtar opening the rout in the 11th minute. Nashville looked to have the game under control when they scored again and incerased their lead, thanks to a effort from Mukhtar at the 13 minute mark to establish a 2-0. The momentum was now with Nashville, who then scored again through a hat trick effort from Mukhtar, 16 minutes in to establish a 3-0. The momentum was now with Nashville, who then scored again through a goal from Sapong at the 40 minute mark to establish a 4-0. However, Chicago secured the points emphatically, with a goal from Aliseda just before half-time. The first half ended 4-1.

Nashville continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with Tah Anunga finding the net at the 62 minute mark and sealed a resounding 5-1 victory for the home side.

For Nashville, Matt Lagrassa, Muyl, Cádiz, Haakenson and Danladi, came on for Mccarty, Mukhtar, Sapong, Tah Anunga and Leal. Chicago brought on Offor, Giménez, Bornstein, Stojanović and Espinoza, to replace Berić, Herbers, Navarro, Medrán and Aliseda.

Nashville will next travel to Columbus Crew, while Chicago will face D.C. United at home.
