On Friday, Nashville and Atlanta were held to a 2-2 draw at Nissan Stadium. As the table looks today, Nashville are in 4th place, with 19 points from 17 matches, while Atlanta sit in 10th, with 13 points from 17.
Atlanta started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, thanks to Walkes giving Atlanta the lead early in the first half. However, their celebrations were kept brief, as Anibaba equalised for Nashville at the 14 minute mark, to take a 1-1 lead into half time.
Nashville staged a comeback in the second half, with an early penalty goal from Mukhtar in the 48th minute. In the end though, their lead was short lived, as Conway equalised for Atlanta at the 59 minute mark. The game ended wih a 2-2 draw.
Nashville brought on Cádiz, Haakenson and Danladi for Sapong, Muyl and Maher. Atlanta brought on Campbell, Conway and Ambrose, to replace Adams, Torres and Wolff.
The referee booked Leal, Haakenson and Mccarty from Nashville. Atlanta had the worst of it though, with Wolff, Sosa, Torres and Moreno seeing yellow, and Mulraney then sent off with a red.
Next up, Nashville are away to Columbus Crew, whilst Atlanta will travel to face Cincinnati.
