Minnesota 1 – Seattle 0- One goal makes difference for The Loons at home

Minnesota United strolled past Seattle Sounders with a 1-0 win on Sunday at Allianz Field. After today’s result, Minnesota are in 6th place on the table and has 18 points while Seattle sit in 1st with 29 points after 18 matches.

After an un-eventful first half, Minnesota piled on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to a goal from Lod in the 81st minute. The game ended with a 1-0 win for Minnesota.

Minnesota brought on Niko Hansen, Finlay and Alonso for Hunou, Fragapane and Reynoso. Seattle brought on Atencio, Adeniran and Dobbelaere, to replace Smith, Leyva and Abdoulaye Cissoko.

There were bookings for Reynoso from Minnesota, and Leyva, Gómez and Abdoulaye Cissoko, for Seattle.

Minnesota will next play Portland Timbers at home, with Seattle facing Austin away.
