Minnesota 3 – Galaxy 0- The Loons cruise past Galaxy at Allianz Field

Minnesota United snatched all three points from LA Galaxy in a 3-0 victory on Sunday, at Allianz Field. As the table looks today, Minnesota and Galaxy sit 6th, (34 points) and 4th, (38 points), in the table respectively, after 34 matches.

The Loons started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, with an early goal from Reynoso in the 4th minute. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a second effort from Reynoso, 20 minutes in and seeing the first half out 2-0.

Minnesota continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, with Finlay finding the net after 67 minutes, leaving a rampant Minnesota with a resounding 3-0.

For Minnesota, Hunou, Hayes, Rosales and Kallman, came on for Reynoso, Lod, Fragapane and Finlay. Galaxy brought on Dos Santos, Chicharito, Víctor Vázquez, Villafaña and Fisher for Klještan, Cabral, Coulibaly, Hamalainen and Grandsir.

There were bookings for Hayes from Minnesota. For Galaxy, Araujo saw yellow.

Minnesota will play at home against Houston Dynamo, while Galaxy will face Austin away.
