Minnesota 2 – Houston 0: Visitors get nothing as The Loons take points

Houston Dynamo on away loss to Minnesota at Allianz Field on Sunday. After today’s result, Minnesota are currently 5th with 37 points from 35 matches, while Houston sit in 12th, with 26 points from 35.

The Loons started the game well, with an early goal from Lod in the 2nd minute. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Finlay at the 17 minute mark. The first half ended 2-0. Both teams struggled to produce anything meaningful in the second half, leaving the final score at 2-0.

For Minnesota, Hayes, Hunou and Kallman, came on for Reynoso, Fragapane and Dibassy. Houston brought on Memo Rodríguez, Baird, Jones and Lassiter, to replace Vera, Cerén, Valentin and Picault.

There were bookings for Reynoso from Minnesota, and Quintero and Junqua, for Houston.
