This Sunday sees Union go head to head with Orlando at Subaru Park – Kick-off 11:00pm GMT.

As it stands, Orlando will go to Subaru Park in third place, Union are currently in eighth.

Philadelphia Union go into this fixture with 32 points secured

A loss to New England Revolution home, and then D.C. United at away is not good enough to retain a credible run of form in the Major League Soccer. Union will see this as an opportunity to get their season back on track.

Union will be hopeful of shaking off the poor form that has seen them lose two games this Major League Soccer season. With 32 points, they are established in eighth in the League having won eight fixtures, drawn eight meetings, and lost seven meetings.

When Union host Orlando, they will do so on the back of six victories and three darts on their own ground.

Winning this fixture will see Philadelphia Union on 35 points.

It’s 38 points so far for Orlando City this season, going into this meeting

Óscar Pareja will not wish to see his side lose three matches in a row, so they will doubtless go into this match, determined to change their recent, disappointing run of form.

With an unfortunate Orlando that has not managed to win in their last League so far, Óscar Pareja’s men form is worryingly poor. The Lions should solve their trend if they don’t want to occupy the lasts places in the League Table. With 38 points, they currently sit third in the League having won 10 meetings, drawn eight matches, and lost six fixtures.

Orlando’s away record is remarkable and poses a significant threat to Union. In the 11 games they’ve played on the road this season, they have so far won three games, drawn four meetings, and lost four fixtures.

A victory for Orlando City would put them on 41 points.

It’s unlikely that this game will result in a draw, or at least that is what the form book would tell us, Union have played Orlando 13 times in the past seasons, with both sides enjoying victory four wins times each. Further, the visitors have not been able to beat Union in any of the
previous
four matches.
