On Wednesday, Los Angeles and Caps were held to a 1-1 draw at Banc of California Stadium. As the table looks today, Los Angeles are in 8th place, with 45 points from 45 matches, while Caps sit in 5th, with 48 points from 45.

The first half of the game started well for Caps, with Dájome giving The Village the lead, 15 minutes in. However, their lead was short lived, as Fall equalised for Los Angeles just before half-time, to take a 1-1 lead into half time. With both teams struggling to produce anything meaningful in the second half though, the game ended 1-1.

For Los Angeles, Cifuentes, Vela and Danny Musovski, came on for Farfan, Ibeagha and Rodríguez. Caps brought on Gutiérrez, Bikel, Caicedo, Cavallini and Veselinovic, to replace Godoy, Owusu, Dájome, Brian White and Bruno Gaspar.

There were bookings for Rodríguez from Los Angeles, and Teibert, for Caps.

Los Angeles will next travel to Colorado Rapids, while Caps will face Seattle Sounders at home.
