Los Angeles FC eased past San Jose in a 3-1 victory on Saturday at Banc of California Stadium. Following today’s result, Los Angeles and San Jose currently occupy 8th and 10th spots in the league, with 37 points and 33 points respectively after 39 matches.

The Black and Gold started well, thanks to an early goal from Danny Musovski in the 3rd minute. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Arango, 28 minutes in, finishing the first half 2-0.

Quakes took the lead in the second half, with a goal from Fierro in the 61st minute. In the end though, Los Angeles just before the final whistle increased their lead following another Arango goal. The game ended 3-1 to Los Angeles.

For Los Angeles, Crisostomo, Ibeagha, Palacios, Rodríguez and Blackmon, came on for Ginella, Edwards, Mamadou Fall, Danny Musovski and Kim Moon-Hwan. San Jose brought on Fierro, Jack Skahan, Cowell, Rios and Wondolowski for Salinas, Abecasis, Alanís, Espinoza and Benjamin Kikanovic.

There were bookings for Murillo, Arango and Farfan from Los Angeles. For San Jose, Jt Marcinkowski, Chofis Lopez and Judson saw yellow.
