Internazionale strolled past Hellas Verona with a 1-0 win on Sunday at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. Inter wanted to improve their league standing after a 1-1 draw against Spezia Calcio. Verona were beaten 2-1 in the previous match against Fiorentina. After today’s result, Inter are currently 1st with 79 points from 33 matches, while Verona sit in 10th, with 41 points from 33.

After a goalless first half, Nerazzurri piled on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with Matteo Darmian giving Inter the lead, on 76 minutes. The game ended 1-0 to Inter.

For Inter, Stefano Sensi, Matteo Darmian, Alexis Sanchez, Danilo D`Ambrosio and Roberto Gagliardini, came on for Federico Ceccherini, Giangiacomo Magnani, Adrien Tameze, Federico Dimarco and Daniel Bessa. Verona brought on Koray Gunter, Pawel Dawidowicz, Eddie Salcedo, Iyenoma Destiny Udogie and Ebrima Colley, to replace Federico Ceccherini, Giangiacomo Magnani, Adrien Tameze, Federico Dimarco and Daniel Bessa.

The referee booked three players from Verona, Federico Ceccherini, Giangiacomo Magnani and Antonin Barak.

Inter will next play Crotone away, with Verona facing Spezia Calcio at home.
