Internazionale 1-0 Cagliari: The Red and Blues suffer at the hands of The Black and Blues as home team is triumphant

Internazionale strolled past Cagliari with a 1-0 win on Sunday at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. Inter were looking to pick up points after winning their previous two matches in the league. The most recent was against the Bologna away (1-0), the other to Torino away (2-1). Cagliari had lost their previous match against Hellas Verona. As the table looks today, Inter are in 1st place, with 74 points from 30 matches, while Cagliari sit in 18th, with 22 points from 30.

After an un-eventful first half, The Black and Blues applied pressure in the second and were rewarded, with Matteo Darmian giving Inter the lead in the 77th minute and seeing the game end 1-0.

For Inter, Achraf Hakimi, Lautaro Martinez, Roberto Gagliardini, Matias Vecino and Danilo D`Ambrosio, came on for Alfred Duncan, Daniele Rugani, Leonardo Pavoletti and Nahitan Nandez. Cagliari replaced Kwadwo Asamoah, Giovanni Simeone, Alberto Cerri and Gaston Pereiro with Alfred Duncan, Daniele Rugani, Leonardo Pavoletti and Nahitan Nandez.

There were bookings for Marcelo Brozovic from Inter, and Radja Nainggolan, for Cagliari.

Inter will next travel to Napoli, while Cagliari will face Parma at home.
