Inter Miami strolled past Toronto FC with a 3-1 win on Sunday at Inter Miami CF Stadium. As the table looks today, Inter are in 12th place, with 19 points from 27 matches, while Phili sit in 14th, with 15 points from 27.
The Herons dominated the first half, thanks to a goal from Pizarro, 15 minutes in. Inter then scored once more and increased their advantage thanks to a goal from Robinson, 35 minutes in, to take a 2-0 lead into half time.
Inter started the second half with an intensified spirit, with an early second effort from Pizarro in the 48th minute. Phili in turn, then responded, 62 minutes in increasing their lead with an effort from Gibbs, sealing a 3-1 victory for the away side.
For Inter, Brek Shea, Vassilev, Matuidi, Leerdam and Carranza, came on for Gibbs, Pizarro, Ulloa, Robinson and Higuaín. Phili brought on Auro, Bradley, Morrow, Deleon and Mullins, to replace Delgado, Osorio, Singh, Achara and Soteldo.
There were bookings for Figal, Robinson and Gregore from Inter. For Phili, Bradley saw yellow.
