New York Red Bulls beats Inter Miami 4-0 on Saturday at Inter Miami CF Stadium. As things stand, Inter are currently 9th with 32 points from 33 matches, while Red Bulls sit in 11th, with 26 points from 33.
Metro didn’t take long to get on the score-sheet, with Klimala opening the rout, at 18 minutes. Red Bulls then netted once more and increased their advantage thanks to a goal from Fernandez at the 31 minute mark, to take a 0-2 lead into half time.
Red Bulls continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, with Fábio Gomez finding the net, at 65 minutes. Metro then scored once more and increased their lead thanks to a second effort from Fábio Gomez just before the final whistle to make it 4-0.
For Inter, Leerdam, Vassilev, Chapman, Higuaín and Carranza, came on for Robinson, Morgan, Gregore, Pizarro and Higuaín. Red Bulls brought on Gutman, Cásseres, Duncan, Barlow and Harper, to replace Carmona, Edwards, Yearwood, Klimala and Fernandez.
The referee booked seven players. Figal, González Pirez and Higuaín from Inter, who saw yellow cards and Figal (2 yellow cards), sent off with a red, as well as for Red Bulls Edwards, Barlow and Harper also seeing yellows.
