Inter Miami eased past Columbus Crew in a 1-0 victory on Sunday at Inter Miami CF Stadium. As the table looks today, Inter and Columbus currently occupy 9th and 10th spots in the league, with 29 points and 27 points respectively after 31 matches.
Inter dominated the first half, with a goal from Higuaín, 16 minutes in to see out the first half 1-0. The second half ended with little further action at either end and goalless.
For Inter, Carranza, Ulloa and Chapman, came on for Robinson, Pizarro and Higuaín. Columbus replaced Zardes, Fraser, Francis, Díaz and Matan with Miguel Berry, Hairston, Valenzuela, Pedro Santos and Etienne.
The referee booked Afful, Zelarayán and Wormgoor for Columbus.
Inter will next play Toronto FC away, with Columbus facing New York Red Bulls at home.
