Inter started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, thanks to Vassilev giving Inter the lead at the 34 minute mark. However, their celebrations were kept brief, as Calvo equalised for Chicago just before half-time, to take a 1-1 lead into half time.
Chicago fought back, with an early goal from Stojanović in the 48th minute. The Herons then went on to level the score at 2-2 at the 62 minute mark, thanks to a goal from Robinson. However they weren’t finished yet and Pizarro made it 3-2 just before the final whistle with a final score of 3-2.
