Houston Dynamo snatched all three points from Seattle Sounders in a 2-1 victory on Sunday, at BBVA Compass Stadium. Following today’s result, Houston and Seattle currently occupy 11th and 1st spots in the table, with 30 points and 57 points respectively after 39 matches.

Houston started the game well, with a goal from Maxi Urruti in the 15th minute. Orange Crush looked to have the game under control when they scored again and incerased their lead, thanks to a goal from Quintero, 20 minutes in to establish a 2-0. The Sounders in turn, then responded just before half-time increasing their lead with an effort from Medranda to see out the first half 2-1. Both teams unable to deliver anything further, the score remained at 2-1 at full time.

For Houston, Figueroa, Cerén, Corona and Pasher, came on for Hadebe, Carrasquilla, Dorsey and Maxi Urruti. Seattle brought on Benezet, Leo Chú, Tolo and Roldan, to replace Abdoulaye Cissoko, Montero, Medranda and O’Neill.

There were bookings for Figueroa from Houston, and Arreaga, for Seattle.
