Major League Soccer Action at BBVA Compass Stadium – Houston Dynamo face Portland Timbers

Saturday at BBVA Compass Stadium, as Houston host Portland in the Major League Soccer.

With a League position of ninth, Portland will be four places higher than struggling Houston, when they visit BBVA Compass Stadium.

Houston Dynamo have 19 points to their name, going into this tie

Time will tell, whether Houston’s recent run of poor form is about to change. However Tab Ramos will be keen to turn his season around with this game, following the recent defeat to Minnesota United, which followed a disappointing 2-2 draw against FC Dallas.

Draw, lose, repeat, it’s a recurring pattern for Houston this season, as Orange Crush have failed to secure a win now in 15 fixtures. With 19 points, they are established in thirteenth in the League having won three games, drawn 10 matches, and lost nine meetings.

When Houston host Portland, they will do so on the back of three victories and five darts on their own ground.

Victory for Houston Dynamo would take their points tally to 22 so far this season.

With the Major League Soccer season well into its stride, Portland Timbers have managed to gain 24 points

Portland have dropped five points in their last two games – a 3-1 defeat at Austin and 1-1 draw at Sporting Kansas City.

They currently sit in ninth place, with a total of 24 points having won seven meetings, drawn three matches, and lost 10 games.

With a poor record on the road, which amounts to one win and two darts, it is hard to predict a positive outcome for Portland as they travel once more.

Portland Timbers will see 27 points so far this season, should they secure a win.

Houston have a 51.81 percent probability of winning.
