Houston 0 – Galaxy 3: Home side left shocked by plundering visitors

LA Galaxy rolls over Houston Dynamo 3-0 on Thursday at BBVA Compass Stadium. As it stands, Houston are currently 11th with 30 points from 40 matches, while Galaxy sit in 5th, with 45 points from 40.

Galaxy started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, with Klještan opening the rout, 37 minutes in. However they weren’t finished yet and Valentin made it 2-0 just before half-time and seeing the first half out 0-2.

Galaxy started the second half with renewed vigour, with an early goal from Cabral in the 48th minute and seeing the game end 3-0.

For Houston, Lundqvist, Pasher, Memo Rodríguez, Corona and Ian Hoffmann, came on for Figueroa, Valentin, Maxi Urruti, Carrasquilla and Cerén. Galaxy replaced Fisher, Grandsir, Joveljic, Coulibaly and Saldana with Araujo, Cabral, Chicharito, Williams and Dos Santos.

There were bookings for Figueroa from Houston, and Chicharito, Araujo and Nick Depuy, for Galaxy.
