Houston Dynamo – Vancouver Whitecaps: Orange Crush beat The Village at BBVA Compass Stadium

On Sunday, Vancouver Whitecaps suffer an away defeat to Houston Dynamo at BBVA Compass Stadium. As the table looks today, Houston and Caps currently occupy 3rd and 9th spots in the league, with 11 points and 7 points respectively after 8 matches.

Orange Crush dominated the first half, with Memo Rodríguez giving Houston the lead in the 9th minute. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Maxi Urruti just before half-time to secure a 2-0 win.

Caps took the lead in the second half, thanks to a goal from Caicedo at the 80 minute mark. When the final wisthle blew, the result was 2-1 to Houston.

For Houston, Vera and Pasher, came on for Memo Rodríguez and Lassiter. Caps brought on Baldisimo, Ricketts, Raposo, Owusu and Bair, to replace Teibert, Bikel, Dájome, Caio Alexandre and Bruno Gaspar.

There were bookings for Jones, Corona, Boniek García and Fafà Picault from Houston. For Caps, Cavallini, Bikel and Baldisimo saw yellow.
