Dallas 0 – Seattle 1- The Sounders, ecstatic seal precious away win

Seattle Sounders eased past FC Dallas in a 1-0 victory on Thursday at Toyota Stadium. After today’s result, Dallas are currently 10th with 21 points from 27 matches, while Seattle sit in 1st, with 39 points from 27.

Following a goalless first half, Seattle continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to Ruidíaz giving The Sounders the lead at the 64 minute mark, to hand a welcome victory to the visitors.

For Dallas, Jara, Ricaurte, Elmedkhar and Vargas, came on for Obrián, Cerrillo, Schön and Twumasi. Seattle brought on Paulo, Lodeiro, Ruidíaz, Smith and Gómez, to replace Roldan, Benezet, Bruin, Medranda and O’Neill.

The referee booked Cerrillo, Acosta and Jara for Dallas.

Next up, Dallas are away to Houston Dynamo, whilst Seattle will travel to face Columbus Crew.
