Dallas 1 – RSL 2: Claret and Cobalt get valuable away win at Toyota Stadium

Real Salt Lake snatched all three points from FC Dallas in a 2-1 victory on Thursday, at Toyota Stadium. As the table looks today, Dallas and RSL currently occupy 12th and 6th spots in the league, with 29 points and 45 points respectively after 43 matches.

Dallas started the game well, with Hedges finding the net in the 20th minute, seeing out the first half 1-0.

RSL continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to Kreilach finding the net in the 80th minute. However they weren’t finished yet and Rusnák made it 2-1 just before the final whistle with a final score of 2-1.

For Dallas, Pomykal, Ricaurte and Pepi, came on for Schön, Obrián and Jara. RSL replaced Julio, Meram, Brody and Méndez with Wood, Menéndez, Chang and Nick Besler.

The referee booked Jara for Dallas.

RSL and Dallas will next play at home to San Jose and Austin respectively.
