Dallas 2 – Caps 2- Victory elusive at Toyota Stadium for both sides

On Monday, Dallas and Caps were held to a 2-2 draw at Toyota Stadium. After today’s result, Dallas are in 11th place on the table and has 11 points while Caps sit in 13th with 9 points after 15 matches.

Dallas dominated the first half, with Pepi finding the net at the 23 minute mark. However, their lead was short-lived, as an equalizer from Cavallini in the 30th minute, brought Caps level. The Village then netted once more and turned the match thanks to a goal from Rose just before half-time to see out the first half 1-2.

Dallas took the lead in the second half, thanks to Veselinovic finding the net just before the final whistle. The game ended 2-2.

For Dallas, Pomykal, Sealy, Jara and Ricaurte, came on for Obrián, John Nelson, Quignon and Jesús Ferreira. Caps brought on Raposo, Brian White, Metcalfe, Jakob Nerwinski and Veselinovic, to replace Dájome, Cavallini, Caio Alexandre, Brown and Caicedo.

There were bookings for Obrián and Acosta from Dallas, and Cavallini, Caio Alexandre, Metcalfe and Jakob Nerwinski, for Caps.

Dallas will play away against LA Galaxy, while Caps will face Real Salt Lake at home.
