Crotone 0-1 Sampdoria: Visitors secure second half victory as The Blue-circled beat Crotone 1-0

Sampdoria snatched all three points from Crotone in a 1-0 victory on Wednesday, at Stadio Ezio Scida. Crotone were hoping to get something from this game, following a previous defeat to Udinese. Sampdoria were coming off the back of a 3-1 win against Hellas Verona. As it stands, Crotone are currently 20th with 15 points from 32 matches, while Sampdoria sit in 9th, with 42 points from 32.

After an un-eventful first half, Whatever was said in the dressing room at half time, seemed to have a positive effect on The Blue-circled who started the second half well, with a goal from Fabio Quagliarella, 53 minutes in and seeing the game end 1-0.

For Crotone, Vladimir Golemic, Salvatore Molina, Samuel Di Carmine and Emmanuel Riviere, came on for Fabio Quagliarella, Manolo Gabbiadini and Jakub Jankto. Sampdoria replaced Keita Balde, Mikkel Damsgaard and Mehdi Leris with Fabio Quagliarella, Manolo Gabbiadini and Jakub Jankto.

There were bookings for Luca Cigarini from Crotone. For Sampdoria, Alex Ferrari saw yellow.

Sampdoria and Crotone will next play away to Sassuolo and Parma respectively.
