Next Sunday at 2:30am GMT, on matchday 35 of the Major League Soccer, we will see Columbus play MON at MAPFRE Stadium.

Columbus, currently struggling in tenth place, will face the challenge of a visiting, fifth placed MON.

This season’s Major League Soccer campaign, has so far seen Columbus Crew achieve 31 points

When Columbus last turned out in the Major League Soccer, the result was a disappointing draw 1-1 against New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium. They will be hoping for a better result this time.

Columbus need to find a way to generate wins on a consistent basis, as they’ve recorded eight losses in their last 11 matches. They currently sit in tenth place, with a total of 31 points having won eight matches, drawn seven matches, and lost 11 fixtures.

When Columbus host MON, they will do so on the back of six victories and three darts on their own ground.

Columbus Crew will see 34 points so far this season, should they secure a win.

Montréal have 37 points to their name, going into this tie

MON will be full of confidence, going into this fixture on that back of two successive wins against Chicago Fire and Orlando City. They will need this if they are to retain their run.

Can MON extend their incredible run of two wins? With 37 points, they are established in fifth in the League having won 10 meetings, drawn seven fixtures, and lost eight games.

MON’s away record is remarkable and poses a significant threat to Columbus. In the 13 games they’ve played on the road this season, they have so far won three fixtures, drawn four games, and lost six matches.

A victory for Montréal would put them on 40 points.
