COLO 1 – Seattle 1- Plenty of goals but no win at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park

COLO were held to 1-1 draw by Seattle down on Thursday at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. After today’s result, COLO and Seattle currently occupy 3rd and 1st spots in the league, with 52 points and 58 points respectively after 41 matches.

Following a goalless first half, COLO took the initiative in the second half, thanks to Badji giving COLO the lead, 66 minutes in. In the end though, their lead was short lived, as Roldan equalised for Seattle at the 81 minute mark. The final result, COLO 1, Seattle 1.

For COLO, Lucas Esteves, Bassett, Galván and Mezquida, came on for Rosenberry, Shinyashiki, Jonathan Lewis and Kaye. Seattle brought on Rowe, Bruin, Leo Chú and O’Neill, to replace Atencio, Benezet, Medranda and Montero.

The referee booked Medranda and O’Neill for Seattle.

COLO next face Portland Timbers and Seattle are at home to Sporting Kansas City.
