Portland Timbers on away loss to COLO at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on Sunday. As the table looks today, COLO and Portland currently occupy 3rd and 4th spots in the league, with 55 points and 46 points respectively after 42 matches.

COLO started strongly in the first half, thanks to Badji giving COLO the lead just before half-time

COLO continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Rubio, 63 minutes in, leaving the final score at 2-0.

For COLO, Barrios, Beitashour, Jonathan Lewis, Mezquida and Shinyashiki, came on for Badji, Kellyn Acosta, Rubio, Bassett and Kaye. Portland replaced Moreno, Zambrano, Valeri, Mabiala and Bonilla for Asprilla, Loria, Van Rankin, Fochive and Niezgoda.

There were bookings for Price from COLO. For Portland, Asprilla and Fochive saw yellow.
