COLO 2 – Minnesota 0- Visitors unable to get win at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park

On Thursday, Minnesota United suffer an away defeat to Colorado Rapids at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. As the table looks today, COLO are in 4th place on the table and has 20 points while Minnesota sit in 8th with 15 points after 16 matches.

It was an impressive opening from COLO, with a goal from Galván just before half-time

COLO continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to Shinyashiki finding the net at the 81 minute mark, leaving the final score at 2-0.

For COLO, Shinyashiki, Benezet, Moor and Warner, came on for Barrios, Galván, Mezquida and Bassett. Minnesota brought on Ábila, Niko Hansen, Finlay, Dotson and Hayes, to replace Hunou, Fragapane, Alonso, Lod and j.

The referee booked Bassett, Galván and Wilson from COLO. Minnesota had the worst of it though, with Alonso seeing yellow, and Ábila then sent off with a red.
