Philadelphia Union eased past Cincinnati in a 2-1 victory on Sunday at Nippert Stadium. As the table looks today, Cin are in 12th place, with 16 points from 25 matches, while Union sit in 3rd, with 31 points from 25.
Union found the net first, with a goal from Przybyłko just before half-time, seeing out the first half 0-1.
Union continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to Aaronson finding the net at the 56 minute mark. Cin in turn, then responded, 82 minutes in increasing their lead with an effort from Medunjanin. The game ended with a 2-1 victory for Union.
For Cin, Atanga, Cameron, Mokotjo, Vázquez and Duvall, came on for Kubo, Vallecilla, Stanko, Barreal and Bailey. Union replaced Sullivan, Real and Bueno with Santos, Jack Mcglynn and Bedoya.
There were bookings for Castillo from Cin. For Union, Freese saw yellow.
