Cincinnati 1-2 Atlanta United: Visitors Too Strong For Hosts

Atlanta United snatched all three points from Cincinnati in a 2-1 victory on Sunday, at Nippert Stadium. As the table looks today, Cin are in 14th place on the table and has 20 points while Atlanta sit in 4th with 51 points after 45 matches.

Cin started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, thanks to a goal from Bailey, at 21 minutes to see out the first half 1-0.

Atlanta continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Robinson, 70 minutes in. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Josef Martinez at the 79 minute mark with a final score of 2-1.

For Cin, Gyau, Cruz, Barreal and Harris, came on for Bailey, Vázquez, Medunjanin and Kubo. Atlanta brought on Mulraney, Damm, Lennon, Campbell and Torres for Walkes, Franco Ibarra, Hernández, Josef Martinez and Barco.

There were bookings for Stanko and Matarrita from Cin, and Hernández and Luiz Araujo, for Atlanta.
