Inter Miami strolled past Cincinnati with a 3-2 win on Sunday at Nippert Stadium. After today’s result, Cin are in 14th place, with 1 point from 7 matches, while Inter sit in 6th, with 8 points from 7.

The Herons started strongly in the first half, thanks to Brek Shea giving Inter the lead early in the first half. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Higuaín, on 39 minutes. The score at half time was 0-2.

Orange and Blue took the initiative in the second half, with Barreal finding the net, 59 minutes in. The momentum was now with Cin, who then scored again through a goal from Hagglund after 83 minutes to establish a 2-2. Inter in turn, then responded just before the final whistle increasing their lead with a 2nd effort from Higuaín. The game ended with a 3-2 victory for Inter.

For Cin, Locadia, Medunjanin, Atanga, Hagglund and Vázquez, came on for Harris, Kubo, Barreal, Vallecilla and Cameron. Inter brought on Jones, Carranza, Chapman, Pizarro and Makoun, to replace Sami Guediri, Higuaín, Brek Shea, Morgan and Higuaín.

There were bookings for Matarrita, Harris, Vallecilla, Cruz and Cameron from Cin. For Inter, Sami Guediri, González Pirez and Gregore saw yellow.

Inter and Cin will next play away to Chicago Fire and Montréal respectively.
