Cin were held to 2-2 draw by Columbus down on Saturday at Nippert Stadium. As the table looks today, Cin are in 11th place on the table and has 12 points while Columbus sit in 8th with 17 points after 16 matches.
Orange and Blue started the first half well, thanks to an early goal from Castillo in the 1st minute. Cin looked to have the game under control when they scored again and incerased their lead, thanks to a goal from Acosta, 24 minutes in to establish a 2-0. However, Columbus just before half-time pull-back via a Zelarayán goal to see out the first half 2-1.
The Crew took the lead in the second half, with Miguel Berry finding the net, 77 minutes in. The game ended wih a 2-2 draw.
For Cin, Stanko, Kovacevic and Vázquez, came on for Medunjanin, Barreal and Atanga. Columbus brought on Abdul-Salaam, Keita, Miguel Berry, Parente and Hurtado, to replace Kitchen, Wormgoor, Francis, Hairston and Matan.
The referee booked Castillo, Kubo, Cameron, Vallecilla, Barreal and Stanko from Cin. Columbus had the worst of it though, with Afful and Mensah seeing yellow, and Afful (2 yellow cards) then sent off with a red.
Cin will next travel to Montréal, while Columbus will face New York at home.
