New England Revolution’s 1-0 win over Cincinnati on Saturday, was hard fought at Nippert Stadium. As the table looks today, Cin are in 14th place on the table and has 4 points while Revs sit in 1st with 17 points after 9 matches.

After an un-eventful first half,

Revs continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to Buksa giving Revs the lead at the 70 minute mark. The game ended 1-0.

For Cin, Barreal and Vázquez, came on for Stanko and Kubo. Revs brought on Edward Kizza and Jon Bell, to replace Traustason and Buchanan.

There were bookings for Stanko and Kubo from Cin. For Revs, Buchanan and Henry Kessler saw yellow.
