Atlanta 1 – Phili 1- Honours even at Mercedes-Benz Stadium

On Sunday, Atlanta and Phili were held to a 1-1 draw at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Following today’s result, Atlanta are in 5th place, with 47 points from 44 matches, while Phili sit in 13th, with 28 points from 44.

Atlanta started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, thanks to Luiz Araujo finding the net, at 15 minutes, finishing the first half 1-0.

Phili took the lead in the second half, with Jordan Perruzza finding the net just before the final whistle. The game ended wih a 1-1 draw.

Both managers used all substitutions. For Atlanta, Mulraney, came on for Moreno, Phili brought on Jordan Perruzza, Lawrence, Delgado, Shaffelburg and Dwyer, to replace Altidore, González, Pozuelo, Deleon and Mullins.

There were bookings for Barco from Atlanta, and Deleon and Lawrence, for Phili.
