Atlanta 1 – Los Angeles 0- Visitors to Mercedes-Benz Stadium leave with nothing

Atlanta United snatched all three points from Los Angeles FC in a 1-0 victory on Sunday, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. As it stands, Atlanta are currently 9th with 21 points from 26 matches, while Los Angeles sit in 7th, with 23 points from 26.

Atlanta started the first half well, with Josef Martinez giving Atlanta the lead just before half-time Both teams unable to deliver anything further, the score remained at 1-0 at full time.

For Atlanta, Lennon, López, Amar Sejdic and Torres, came on for Hernández, Rossetto, Moreno and Josef Martinez. Los Angeles brought on Cifuentes, Arango, Ibeagha, Edwards and Crisostomo, to replace Farfan, Rodríguez, Murillo, Palacios and Blessing.

There were bookings for George Bello from Atlanta, and Atuesta, for Los Angeles.
