Atlanta 4 – Cin 0: Heavy loss for Orange and Blue at Mercedes-Benz Stadium

Cincinnati on away loss to Atlanta at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Thursday. As the table looks today, Atlanta are currently 7th with 33 points from 32 matches, while Cin sit in 13th, with 20 points from 32.

Atlanta started strongly in the first half, with an early goal from Luiz Araujo in the 5th minute. However they weren’t finished yet and Josef Martinez made it 2-0 just before half-time to see out the first half 2-0.

Atlanta started the second half with renewed vigour, with Josef Martinez finding the net again, at 55 minutes. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Barco just before the final whistle with a final score of 4-0.

For Atlanta, George Bello, Adams, Wolff, Damm and Torres, came on for Mulraney, Rossetto, Josef Martinez, Lennon and Luiz Araujo. Cin brought on Barreal, Acosta, Cameron, Harris and Duvall, to replace Castillo, Valot, Vallecilla, Brenner and Bailey.

There were bookings for Adams and Wolff from Atlanta. For Cin, Brenner, Castillo, Matarrita, Vázquez and Duvall saw yellow.

Atlanta next face D.C. United and Cin are at home to New York.
