New York Red Bulls’ 2-0 win over Nashville SC on Saturday, was hard fought at Red Bull Arena. As the table looks today, Red Bulls are currently 4th with 12 points from 10 matches, while Nashville sit in 7th, with 11 points from 10.
It was an impressive opening from Red Bulls, with Fabio Gomez giving Red Bulls the lead at the 37 minute mark. They then managed to see out the first half 1-0.
Metro continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to a goal from Duncan, 56 minutes in. The game ended 2-0.
For Red Bulls, Yearwood, Barlow, Tarek and Carmona, came on for Edwards, Fabio Gomez, Andrés Reyes and Amaya. Nashville brought on Donasiyano, Anibaba, Haakenson, Danladi and Bwana, to replace Matt Lagrassa, Zimmerman, Leal, Sapong and Mukhtar.
The referee booked Klimala and Duncan for Red Bulls.
