Seattle Sounders beat LA Galaxy with a thumping 2-1 victory on Sunday at StubHub Center. After today’s result, Galaxy are in 4th place on the table and has 15 points while Seattle sit in 1st with 21 points after 11 matches.
Galaxy found the net first, with Klještan giving Galaxy the lead at the 22 minute mark. However, their celebrations were kept brief, as Gómez equalised for Seattle just before half-time to see out the first half 1-1.
The Sounders staged a comeback in the second half, thanks to an early goal from Ruidíaz in the 49th minute, leaving the final score at 2-1.
For Galaxy, Nick Depuy, Grandsir, Dunbar and Zubak, came on for Steres, Alvarez, Villafaña and Lletget. Seattle brought on Medranda, Leyva and Bruin, to replace Montero, Abdoulaye Cissoko and Roldan.
