Kansas 1 – Austin 1: Wizards denied all 3 points at Children’s Mercy Park

On Saturday, Kansas and Austin were held to a 1-1 draw at Children’s Mercy Park. After today’s result, Kansas and Austin currently occupy 2nd and 10th spots in the table, with 17 points and 8 points respectively after 17 matches.

Austin started the first half well, thanks to Domínguez finding the net after 26 minutes, finalising the first half 0-1.

Kansas took the lead in the second half, with Salloi finding the net, 71 minutes in. The game ended wih a 1-1 draw.

For Kansas, Hernandez, Lindsey and Harris, came on for Walter, Zusi and Hernandez. Austin replaced Sebastian Berhalter, Manny Perez, Redes, Manneh and Romaña with Pochettino, Gallagher, Stroud, Domínguez and Fagundez.

There were bookings for Walter from Kansas, and Besler and Nick Lima, for Austin.
